Creating a User

Prerequisites

We start this topic with a clean iData instance installation completed. We have no requirement for projects or data connectivity defined within iData. 





Introduction

iData provides the ability to have multiple users with different levels of access to resources and projects.

In this short article we will be covering the creation of a user.

Steps

If we are managing users, we’ll need to sign on with an administrator. 


We press logon in to get to the login screen.


To access the user menu choose the Administration menu, and select Identity Management and Users.



To access the user menu choose the Administration menu, and select Identity Management and Users.

This shows us our defined users.

Lets add a new user by clicking on New User.




To create the user, press Save.


Now we can see that the user has been added to our list.
